August 27, 2009 - Achilles is quite active in several high profile international procurement forums. It is through these forums, plus the general exposure to global procurement through all Steering Groups, that Achilles can bring an international perspective to procurement at the APUG Steering Committee meetings.

This year, Achilles has secured speaking opportunities at two international forums, with the purpose of providing key customers with the opportunity to talk about their initiatives and success stories, plus of course the opportunity to learn more about what others are doing.

The first one is the Procurement Leaders Forum, in October in Amsterdam, and the second is ProcureCon in November in Brussels. Attending these events are highly recommended and are very valuable, with high quality speakers from a variety of industries.

Achilles is aware that travel arrangements to such events in Europe will be extremely difficult, but if any of you are able to attend, it would be a tremendous opportunity for you to bring back information for your own company and for APUG. A very brief outline of both events is included below:
